36 tytułów na 80-lecie Blue Note Records

Seria „Blue Note 80” zakłada comiesięczną winylową reedycję trzech albumów pogrupowanych według następujących tematów: Blue Note Debuts, Blue Grooves, Great Reid Miles Covers, Blue Note Live i Blue Note Drummer Leaders. Jako pierwsze ukażą się wznowienia wielkich debiutów Blue Note: „Takin' Off” Herbiego Hancocka, „Doin' Allright” Dextera Gordona oraz „Canvas” Roberta Glaspera.

Seria Blue Note 80 to jedna z wielu form uczczenia 80 rocznicy powstania najbardziej wpływowej wytwórni jazzowej na świecie. Cały 2019 rok będzie obfitował w liczne winylowe reedycje, eventy oraz inicjatywy streamingowe, natomiast jesienią odbędzie się premiera filmu dokumentalnego „Beyond The Notes” w reżyserii Sophie Huber, który opisuje historię Blue Note Records.
